Brigitte Grutzmacher

The role of the Managing Director / Registered Manager is to ensure that the company continues to offer a service which is both beneficial to the community and to its employees, and that Tender Loving Carers Domiciliary Ltd retains its accreditations awarded.
Britt is required to fully understand and implement all regulations relating social care and employers liabilities and ensure that the company remains compliant.

Britt began her career in the accounts department of Invicta Motors, Canterbury and from there gained knowledge of accountancy and administration. These attributes lead to Britt working alongside her mother Kim at Tender Loving Carers.
In 2002 Britt became the Registered Manager / Managing Director, taking on the day-to-day running of the company. Britt ensures that the companies’ ethos of maintaining service users dignity and independence are paramount, and that the company continues to hold onto its identity as a family run business rather than the large national organisations.

In 2005 Britt was invited to become one of the Directors of KCCA (Kent Community Care Association), soon to become the vice chair.

Her knowledge has meant that her opinions are valued within the industry, and as thus has been requested to judge candidates for carer awards.

With all of the above commitments Britt still manages to enjoy quality time with her partner and their two small children.
