Doro Houlton

Doro is our Whitstable weekday coordinator and deals with all clients rotas from the Whitstable area. Doro left school at the age of 16 and went to college. At college Doro completed a Youth Training Scheme in Health and Social Care. On completion of her college course Doro went on to work at Nunnery Fields Hospital as a Health Care Assistant. After leaving Nunnery Field Doro started work in a home for adults with learning difficulties, where she started as a Support Worker and progressed up to Deputy Home Manager. Doro left there and worked in a children’s home as a support worker. Since October 2002 Doro has worked for TLC. Whilst working for TLC Doro has gained an NVQ Level 3 in Care and is a trained Moving and Handling Trainer and Assessor. Doro is also trained to provide Mental Capacity Act training.
